Meeting up with your friends in Plaza del Dos de Mayo seems like an easy and sometimes unavoidable plan. The hard part is finding them on the first try.
Among this crowd of Madrilenians and tourists, ladies and rockers, good children and mischievous adults, there is a soldier from 1808 , a pizza from Antonia's, a heavy metal band from Gran Vía (visiting the neighbourhood), the author of this illustration , a beach ball? and maybe even a famous person .

Artist: Hail Felix
Ave Félix is the artistic name of Félix Domínguez (Huelva, 1992), a very young and talented creator who uses illustration as a visual diary of life experiences, always seen from a perspective of irony and black humor , because he is not much of a crybaby.
His tools, gouache, watercolor, ink, pencil; his style, the result of his love for comics, popular culture and whatever obsesses him at any given moment.
Today, he pays tribute to his time in Madrid with a cover whose date commemorates the day he moved to the capital and whose price is the floor and door of his first apartment in Madrid.
