Ave Félix

Ave Félix is the artistic name of Félix Domínguez (Huelva, 1992), a very young and talented creator who uses illustration as a visual diary of life experiences, always seen from a perspective of irony or sarcastic humor, because life is too short to cry. His tools are gouache, watercolor, ink, pencil; his style, the result of his love for comics , popular culture and whatever obsesses him at any given moment.

He has participated in collective exhibitions such as Dibumad (Madrid), Grafistas Onubenses (Huelva) and Blurfair (Seville). He has also performed solo with Ultrarreal (KÓK, Seville), Color carne (La importada, Seville) or Mala Leche (Sala Siroco, Madrid). His illustrations have appeared in the press, shop windows, fanzines and wherever else.

This year, he was a finalist in the prestigious Francisco Mantecón International Competition, which runs Bodegas Terras Gauda. He has published “ The Sevillaner ” for our colleagues and today, he pays tribute to his time in Madrid.
