Patricia Bolaños is an illustrator and storyteller based in Brooklyn. She studied Architecture in her hometown, Madrid, but her passion for drawing and her fondness for telling stories led her to change the endless nights of AutoCAD for colored pencils.
In 2016 she moved to New York almost by chance, and after several existential crises and countless tears in cafeterias and sticky dive bars , she began her career as an illustrator.
Her work has been published in magazines such as Vanity Fair, Harpers Bazaar or Condé Nast Traveler, and in 2022 her first book, New York is the Thing, was published.
She can be found taking notes on the streets of New York and stealing stories on the subway where 90% of her inspiration comes from.
