FAQ / Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a physical store?

We enjoy the flexibility and exclusivity that online sales and word of mouth give us. However, we love to meet passionate Madrileñers and show them live our prints, so you will see us in the most curious art markets in the city and in the most exclusive concept stores in the world.

We are crazy to meet you.

Who does the illustrations?

Each work is made by a different artist, but they all have in common that they love Madrid and that they are storytellers. Many have editorial illustration experience, and even have published their own books. You can find more information about the trajectory of each artist section.

What presentations / sizes do they have?

We sell in 3 convenient sizes: 30x40cm, 40x50cm and 50x70cm. They all fit standard frames you can find everywhere. We also offer standard frames, so you receive your print directly framed at home.

What is a Giclée print?

It is a printing process that uses acid-free paper and high-quality pigment-based archival inks to ensure that prints will never degrade, fade, or yellow over time.

How should I care for my Giclée?

Until you frame your Giclée, treat your prints as you would any piece of art. Be careful not to scratch the printed part and avoid getting moisture or oils on your fingers as these can show up on the print.

How do I get my new sheets to stop curling and lie flat?

Once you receive your prints, turn them over and install them on a protected surface (tissue paper, etc.). Place a book in each corner and wait overnight, up to several days. Warmer environments will help flatten your new prints better than cooler ones.

Why your prints don't  cost 5.95 Eur?

The €5.95 price that you see in the upper left corner of our prints is a nod to the format of a magazine cover, but it is symbolic. 😉

Our prices are calculated to be able to offer fair remuneration to artists and cover the costs of fine art printing (12 inks and on museum-quality paper), which can maintain its quality and vividness of colors for up to 100 years.

Do you do international shipments?

Yes, we ship to all parts of the world. Our shipping policy is:

  • Spain: 2 to 4 business days
  • Europe: 4 to 6 business days
  • Extra European: up to 15 working days

What payment options do you accept?

We accept any card issued in Spain and most international cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB), PayPal.

Will my art prints match what I see on my screen?

We try to visually represent our art prints as accurately as possible. There may be slight variations in colors due to differences in lighting and monitors. In general, our clients confirm that the colors are much more vivid than on the screen.

Can I share my prints on social networks?

YEAH! Share your images on social media and tag us on Instagram @be_themadrilener.
