He is an editorial illustrator with a broad record and experience, ranging from children's books to essays. He is known for his intense use of color and graphic simplification.

Jacobo has received multiple awards and prizes, including finalist for the Lazarillo Illustration Award and winner of the José Segrelles International Illustration Award.
