The Madrileñer sneaks into WOW Concept: The perfect fusion of Madrid!
How do you find the perfect product?
There's no magic formula. Sometimes it's a matter of data, other times it's a matter of intuition. But many times, it's simply a matter of heart.
When WOW Concept contacted us, it wasn't just to sell prints. It was to tell a story. A story that began, like many good stories, with a walk through Madrid.
One of the WOW team members discovered us at a local market. She took one of our issues home because, she told us, she felt it captured what it means to be from Madrid, even if she wasn't born here. That emotional connection is exactly what we strive for with every cover of The Madrileñer .
Our project was born as a tribute to the city. Inspired by the iconic style of The New Yorker , our illustrations reinterpret Madrid life with charm, irony, and, above all, love for the city. From the most iconic characters to the most secret corners known only to locals, each piece is an ode to Madrid's vibrant life.
The Madrileñer celebrates Madrid
Two years after that walk, we received a call. They wanted us to The Madrileñer will be part of WOW Concept . Not as just another souvenir, but as a piece that speaks to what it's like to live in (and love) this city.
And that's how our prints ended up in two of Madrid's most iconic spaces:
- WOW Concept Gran Vía 18 – 4th floor
- WOW Concept Serrano 52 – 6th floor
There, between avant-garde design and the latest trends, lies a special corner for those who feel Madrid is in their hearts. Because Madrid's art isn't just for viewing. It's for hanging. It's for giving. It's for living.
"WOW Effect", a special collaboration with El Chico Llama
The exciting thing was creating an exclusive print with the artist El Chico Llama : an illustration titled WOW effect , which captures the emotion of entering this unique space. A scene of Gran Vía at dusk, with the WOW store as the centerpiece, surrounded by the area's most iconic buildings.
The collaboration also includes magnets, gift boxes, and limited editions that can't be found anywhere else. Because when we travel or shop, we don't just want a souvenir: we look for an object that captures what we experienced there.
And that is exactly what it represents The Madrileñer : a way to take an authentic piece of Madrid with you.

Seeing our prints at WOW Concept, seeing how people stop, smile, and choose them… is one of those small, great satisfactions that make it all worthwhile. The most important thing is that we've connected with people who, like us, feel this city is part of their identity.
