The Society of Illustrators annual Exhibition presents more than 400 pieces of the most outstanding works created throughout the year 2022. Open to artists from all over the world, thousands of applications are evaluated by a jury of professionals that includes illustrators, directors of renowned art and designers.
The Large Illustration in the (Botanical) Garden , along with 3 other works by Cinta have been selected and will be exhibited from January 11 to February 11 at the Museum of Illustration and Cartoon Art Museum in New York.
This Valladolid was trained in Fine Arts between Salamanca, Madrid and Germany, where she discovered her passion for telling stories through her art. She is a fluent user of India ink and watercolor and lately she has decided to further explore her interest in ceramics.
The characters drawn by Cinta are unmistakable. Perhaps that has given her the honor of being one of the 3 illustrators chosen for the reissue of Gloria Fuertes's books. Yours? 'Small and BIG' 😊
Long before Cinta was in 'Illustrators 65', at THE MADRILEÑER we already felt lucky to have Cinta among the artists who have wanted to tell their story of Madrid, in a double tribute to our city and to the iconic magazine The New Yorker: THE MADRILEÑER.
